A Day Down By CA:
Campers are organized by age into Units. Each Unit has several Bunks or groups of campers that go from activity to activity together.
After drop off, all bunks meet together for BOKER TOV (“Good Morning!”) – welcoming each other to Camp, and doing some fun activities to start our day

In the morning, campers have three activity periods, including swimming. Other activities include arts and crafts, music, Israel life, Karate, sports, Earth Art, and more.
After lunch, campers have more time for swimming (or water play for younger campers), and more activities.

In the afternoon, all campers receive a cold treat and get ready to go home — Happy but exhausted!

On Fridays, we always have special events like a carnival, Wet-N-Wild Day, or a Petting Zoo! And we wind down our week with an all-camp Shabbat.

2025 Highlights
Offerings by Age Group
Goldsmith Campers enjoy the security of a Pre-School program but the fun and excitement of CA Camps Programing! Campers enjoy a taste of all that CA Camps has to offer including music, arts, water-play, Earth Art, Shabbat and special events, and more!
Our “Junior Village” Campers (Pre-K and Kindergarten) get the full CA Camps experience, but with a focus on making good transitions — to camp and to school. Our Junior Village offers more independence than pre-school but still has the security of experienced counselors and pre-school/kindergarten teachers.
Lower Campers (Grades 1-2) Get our full CA Camp Experience! Swimming, Sports, Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Science, Earth Art, and more!
Our “Middle Camp” is for campers entering 3rd-6th grades. These campers enjoy more advanced camp activities and go on a weekly field trip every week! Many campers enjoy a few weeks of traditional day camp and a few weeks in a specialty camp.
Our LIT/CIT program (Teens) are our 7th – 10th graders. Campers get special trainings, are placed in a bunk or special area, and take on exciting leadership roles like planning our Carnival, Wet-N-Wild Day, and Color Games! Teens have some exciting trips including our signature end-of-summer trip to Hershey Park!
(Varies, typically 2nd-6th grade). Specialty Camps offer week-long sessions focusing on one cool area. In 2024, we offered Art Camp with Ms. Theresa; Sports Camp with Ezra, Eli, and Sam; STEM Camp with the Science Guys; and Culinary Camp with Chef Annie! We’re excited to announce our 2025 Specialty Camps this fall!
