Robyn’s Background
Educator
Robyn is a career educator, having worked for Baltimore County Public Schools in a Title 1 Elementary school for over 14 years. Robyn has a BA in Elementary Education, a M.Ed. in Special Education, and a Certificate of School Administration. During Robyn’s teaching career, Robyn was a classroom teacher, special education teacher, and school resource teacher. Robyn worked with teachers, parents, and school administrators to facilitate the best educational opportunities for students of limited means and students with special needs. Robyn was nationally recognized for a holistic, student-centered behavioral management program that she implemented at her school.
Robyn continues to work adjacent to the schools at Chizuk Amuno, managing the after-care programs for Krieger Schecter Day School and Goldsmith Early Childhood Center.
Camp Life
Robyn has worked at Jewish summer camps every summer since she was a teenager. After moving on from working summers at Camp Louise, Robyn worked at a local day-camp with enrollment of over 1,000 campers in the aquatics department. Eventually Robyn was the Aquatics Director, managing a staff of over 25-lifeguards and the swim instruction program. Robyn shared responsibilities with Kori Snair, the CA Camps assistant director.
In 2020, during COVID, Robyn and assistant director Kori Snair created Camp Suburban, a day camp at the Suburban Club in Pikesville. Camp Suburban was extremely popular and outgrew its space in three summers. After Summer 2022, Robyn moved her camp operations to Chizuk Amuno, which founded CA Camps.

Camp Philosophy
Summer Camp is an amazing opportunity for campers and fundamental for many kids’ growth and development. As a parent, educator, and camp professional, I ask myself 3 basic questions:
SAFETY — Is this camp Safe for my children?
EDUCATION — Does this camp provide educational and growth opportunities for my students?
FUN — Is this camp fun and exciting for my campers?
