The CA Scoop – Week 7 2024

Week 7 Highlights:

Our Summer 2024 smiles are as bright as ever!
“The smiles may fade but the memories last forever.”

• Ravens Day: Our Campers LOVED their surprise visit from Poe the Raven’s mascot!
  
  
• Sports and Karate: From freeze tag, to Scooter Soccer, campers were moving all week long with Coach Gina! Master Quick’s Karate is always a camper favorite, with campers perfecting their self-defense and earning medals!
  
  
• New Mud Kitchen: Our amazing Earth Art pros, Judy and Yoella, constructed a mud kitchen this summer! We unveiled the new project, and the campers LOVE it! Amazing!
  
  
• Field Trip: Our Middle Camp + Sports Camp enjoyed a day at Sportsman’s Hall where they took to the bumper cars, laser tag, batting cages, and more! So Fun!
  
  
• LIT/CITs @ Hershey Park: As a “sweet treat” our LITs/CITs enjoyed a trip to Hershey Park as a thank you for all their hard work! From helping in the bunks and special areas, organizing our Carnival and Wet N Wild Day, to getting Red Cross certification in babysitting and other leadership training… our Teens truly did it all!
  
  
• Culinary Camp: Our Culinary Camp made Sweet Treats! Lemon Bars, Triple Layer Cake, Coffee Cake and More… YUM!
  
  
• Gaga Tournament: Bunks faced off in the opening rounds of our Gaga Tournament… We’ll find out who will be crowned a the Gaga champs in our final rounds this week!
  
  
• Special Event: On Friday we met some cute animals – rabbits, turtles, a llama, and more. It was so fun learning about these farm animals and getting to meet them up close and in person.
  
  
• Family Shabbat @ the Pool: We welcomed parents and our Goldsmith, KSDS, and Rosenbloom Religious School partners for a camp-style Family Shabbat. Families enjoyed Kabbalat Shabbat in the pool, pizza, and sweet treats!
